Brand selection follows a transparent set of criteria.
Quality first
Brands earn coverage by making products that perform across multiple skin types, body types, or use-cases. Hype alone is not a qualification.
Inclusive practice
We prioritize brands whose product development includes multiple skin tones and body types. We prioritize brands that pay fair labor wages and disclose supply-chain practice where relevant.
Queer-owned where competitive
Where queer-owned or queer-led brands compete on quality with mainstream alternatives, we highlight them. The performance bar remains the same.
Disqualifications
Brands are disqualified for documented discriminatory practice, false advertising, or active community harm. Disqualifications are reviewed annually.
