Acquisition
We purchase products with editorial budget where possible. PR samples are accepted with the explicit condition that the brand has no editorial input. PR samples are disclosed.
Real-world use
Two-week minimum in daily routines. Skincare is tested across AM/PM cycles. Fragrance is tested across temperature ranges and clothing types. Style is tested through wash cycles and weather. Tech is tested across travel, gym, and focus-work contexts.

Every pick is benchmarked against direct alternatives at the same price tier and against editor favorites already on the shelf.
When a pick changes
If a better alternative becomes available, we update the recommendation and date the change on the guide.
